About Me

My photo
Im 18 yrs old and currently I am a senior in high school. When I graduate from high school I plan on possibly being a art major, and pursuing a career in graphic designing. Art to me is a way that I can freely express myself besides writing my problems down using a pen and pad. The aspects that are involved in art allow me to convey a different part of my personality that other's might have never seen before, whether I'm sketching, sculpting, painting or building art allows me to see myself differently then just being average it allows me to be different. My artwork derives from the emotions or thoughts that I have on a daily basis, and having the chance to share it with other's makes me proud. ***NEW Project

Lately I've been having trouble balancing school and it's been very stressful, so in order for me to actually express how I've been feeling for the past 2 weeks I decided to create my own project. This project is basically conveying my thoughts and emotions, and will be called the "Puppet Master." I'm excited to actually see how my project will take form, I have formulated a lot of ideas that I have for it on paper and I can't wait to see it take form in different mediums of art. I'm currently working on my first drawing for it and plan on finishing it by next week. However if i didn't explain my reasoning thoroughly on why my project is called the "Puppet Master" then here's a picture so you can visualize my reason behind the name.

When you're a Puppet you have no physical control over your body and you don't even have a mindset. But by having the chance to be a Puppet Master you ultimately control the body of that puppet, it has to obey you. However my question is " What happens when those roles are switched?"

Work

I know I haven't been blogging like I should have, but I'm sure that this post that I'm writing will be able to explain in detail the assignments that I've had so far at work and some of the new experiences that I've also had.
I hope you don't mind if I list them out. :)

1.) Learning how to use Photoshop to color my drawings.
2.) Designing my personal business card
3.)Nutrition Drawing
4.) Timed drawing of the positioning of a live model.

These are the four things that I've had the chance to complete and experience at work. With learning how to use Photoshop it has allowed me to enhance my drawing skills, and learn how to add detail to my art work that I've really wanted.  However having the chance to design my own business card has made me excited also. I actually have the chance to experience working in the art world by having a business card, can't wait to see how much art work I start to produce during this year. When it comes to my nutrition drawing, it was assignment that was for the Access Health center, and its purpose is to stress the importance of having an healthy lifestyle to younger kids. Last but not least the timed drawing of the positioning of a live model was intense, this experience trained my eyes, and taught me how to start sketching from the inside then the outside.

But work so far has been amazing can't wait to keep blogging and letting you know what else I'm up to. :)

Guest Speaker

Work so far has been great. I've had the chance to actually see in detail the art work of another Artist. We recently just had a guest speaker and it was Ms. Linda. Ms. Linda basically took the time out to explain the reasoning behind the influence that helped mold each piece of art work that she has so far produced. The art work that Ms. Linda displayed during her presentation was aspiring, and it also influenced me to create a project of my own that deals with puppets and puppet masters, I know it seems odd but I'm confident that it'll help convey my growing skills as an young artist.
However I would love for you all to have the chance to view the art work of Ms. Linda so when find out the link to her blog I'll be sure to post it. I know everyone will enjoy it. :)

I'm an individual who believes that music solves the problems of life. Music within itself is a piece of art. The lyrics are first derived and then mended together to create a story. Music is just and art is life.
